Most of my followers expect Doctor Who related posts, I made a Police Box Ring that I occasionally post about, and my username is a reference to a specific strip of an out-of-print newspaper comic (Some people got it!). I grew up with video games and television (people like this are rare, I'm sure) and am currently employed as a jeweler CAD technician. Quite often those two things interject. You can email me at GinoArizmendi@artgemsjewelers.com

A keen eye would have noticed that whenever I promote my work I never use any of the copyrighted or licensed terminology from the BBC. The reason for this is simple, I don’t have the license to sell anything under the “Doctor Who” or “TARDIS” name. Though it isn’t from a lack of trying; the BBC America attorney in New York told me my sales are simply too low and they are not interested. This is a bigger let down when you consider how much merchandise for this show exists (like a $10 River Song TARDIS notebook).
It’s a real real real shame, too. I had ThinkGeek interested in selling the ring and everything. Oh, man, can you imagine that? Something I did being sold on ThinkGeek! But alas, with no licensing: no ThinkGeek. I just wanted to say, ThinkGeek was absolutely the best about this. They helped me with certain things when it came to talking with the BBC attorney and they were the only company that actually responded or said yes when I approached them with my ring.
I even tried approaching doctorwhostore.com (physically going to their only store—I wore a vest), but they declined saying rings are a tough sell. It wasn’t a total loss, I got to wear a vest. Off topic: We should bring back the vest.
My wildest dream (in relation to this topic) was to have an advertisement in the Doctor Who magazine with the caption “BBC’s Doctor Who TARDIS Ring” (overdoing the whole licensing thing, of course) and possibly with one of the female companions modeling the ring. (remember, “wildest”)
If sales pick up I’ll try approaching the BBC again, but until then “Police Box Ring” and “Crack Pendant” will have to do.
Which reminds me, there’s a Crack Pendant coming your way. Complete with some giveaways~~
17 inches tall, almost a pound per inch, hand painted, and just a mere $450.
I’d get one, but you know…
Shelf space is scarce.
Yeah. That’s it. Shelf space.

It’s a double room, but it’s clear at least six people are crashing there. There’s copper-colored goggles, rolled up maps, a tackle box full of tiny people, a jubilee of wet erase markers, pencil shavings all over the floor, a hand-scrawled sign that says FREE HUGS, and… is that a mascot costume? Oh dear.

I was born in Alexian Brother’s Hospital (don’t hold me to it, I used Google to help me remember). I quickly became the best baby there and advanced into kindergarden. After two or three years of that I moved onto grade school.
Middle Middle Filler Middle…
I currently work as a CAD designer for jewelry. My desk has a SpacePilot and Nostromo, the latter I could not get my bosses to buy for me so I bought it myself ($70) at ThinkGeek.com. One of my hobbies is stargazing, I have an Orion Dobsonian XT8 (Google it, its pretty large for the average person, but apparently a dwarf to people who are serious about it).
Thats short enough as no one really cares.
